The American Society of Media Photographer’s New York Chapter (ASMPNY) announces two new exciting industry events in its programming line up.
Photo Business New York (PBNY) will take place February 27 & 28th, 2014 at Engelman Recital Hall, Baruch College, 55 Lexington Ave, New York City.
IDEA SHARE: Innovation, Inspiration & Ideas in the Photo Industry will take place March 1st at Mason Hall, Baruch College, 17 Lexington Ave, New York City.
Both events build upon ASMP NY’s mission to provide education in better business practices and help professional photographers be successful in their business and their careers.
PBNY is a two-day seminar dedicated to the business of photography. Industry experts will provide insights into the changing landscape of the business of photography and inspire new ideas for attendees. Each day four speakers and a key-note speaker will present different topics on the business of photography.

Idea Share is a one-day event born from photography and expanded to life, creativity, and innovation. Creative individuals who have broken barriers and innovated in their fields, overcome obstacles to success in photography and other industries will share their stories. The format of idea is a combination of short presentations, conversation breaks, and a social hour.
Idea Share is open to the general public, however the audience is primarily photographers and others in the photo industry, including gallerists, curators, and art buyers.
